About the Artist, Art Heim
A passion for the outdoors, coupled with a limitless curiosity for knowing what's around the next bend have led Art Heim to a life of exploring the natural and human wonders of our world. Art's travels have included much of North America, Asia, Southern Africa, Europe, and Central America.
A highlight of this experience has been trekking the high Himalaya of Nepal, hiking the ancient trade route between Tibet and India at the foot of Mount Everest.
HeimWorks images have evolved from a personal passion for capturing the beauty of nature, and compassion for the people of the places Art visits. Many of Art's best works are from walks alone in the woods on quiet mist-laden mornings, while others are the result of hours of searching and waiting for just the right moment.
News from HeimWorks .......
PATAGONIA..... In late November, Art had the opportunity to join a small group of photographers for two weeks in the wilds of Patagonia. This experience was the realization of a long anticipated adventure in a remote area of South America. The images captured represent a small set of the truly amazing landscape that is Patagonia. We have devoted the next page of our website entirely to the unique wildlife and landscapes of Patagonia that were a part of Art's experience.
Please Enjoy, and let us know what you think.

"My primary artistic interest lies in the graphic interpretation of the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environment through landscape, wildlife, and cultural imagery, and a deep desire to share the work for the enjoyment of others."
